We we found out today we will be having another girl. Melynn has already decided that she would like to name her "Pink Boots".

My Cute Dad

Peter's priesthood class got out late today and I was home sick. Melynn's primary teacher took her to look for him and asked her what her dad looked like and Melly's response was "he has brown eyes and a cute face".   How cute is my little girl. Melts your heart!

Another Letter to Eric

How to kidnap Tia

Preface: Tia is Peter's cousin, she is a year older than Melynn.  Melly completely loves Tia and any event that they both attend they always disappear off together.

This morning I was telling Melly that Tia was at the deer widows party last night and that I should have brought her.  She remembered the last time she saw Tia at the family campout.  Then she burts out, "I think I love Tia."
"Mom, next time you see Tia, grab her arm, put her in the car, and drive real fast to our house and she can sleep on my floor every night."
"Okay?!?"

Last night we decided to take the kids out on dates. Melly and dad looked at potential christmas presents and went to eat at "the star" while mom and alex ate at subway and bought supplies for a combined dessert.

I told Melly that we were going to write letters to Uncle Eric. I told her that she could write whatever she wanted. This is what she came up with:

Mad Eric,

I love you! I want something so special to play with at your house. And Mom, I love you to the moon and back. I like to snuggle with Eric. I want something to play with at Katie Matt's house. I like chicken flying up in the air. I like Eric flying up in the air. I want duck flying up in the air. I love you to the moon and back. I want a DVD to watch a video. I learned about ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ now I know my ABC's next time won't you sing with me. I like Eric's computer to play on and not to work on. I like Mom's hair on ice (yes, she actually said that...I don't know). I am a child of God. And I like ice skating...gibberish...fake Spanish words. I love you!
