Well right before we went to bed last night we decided to try out the doppler again for the second time. The first time we didn't have much luck. That was only a week ago. So we weren't expecting much. Well it took awhile but we finally found it. So we actually know that there is a baby and this isn't just a waste of time.
Melynn has decided that she is scared of bugs. She did this over and over again. She would only go over there when daddy was there to protect her, but she always ran to me for comfort.
Yesterday all of the wives with kids went to Chuck E. Cheese. I think Melynn enjoyed her self all she wanted to do it run all over. I let her run a little, but I was afraid I would lose her. I loved it. I had a blast. We both did. Here are some pictures. Enjoy.

Melynn loved this ride. Well actually she loved the dog.
This ride actually takes your picture, but you don't know when it is going to take it and when we got it turned out horribly, so I took my own. I think it turned out pretty cute.
This is the Bob the Builder ride. When I put the token in and the ride started it about knocked her out of the seat, so I quickly buckled her in. I was afraid she might get sick, but she did really well. All she really wanted to do was suck on Bob's nose.
All in all I think it was a good day. Everyone had fun and Melynn went to bed earlier than usual because she was all tuckered out.
We bought a Fetal Heart Doppler. Which is a device that you can hear your baby's heart beat as early as 10 weeks to the end of your pregnancy. So Grandma Julie and Grammy, if you'd like you can hear the baby's heart beat. And anyone who is pregnant can borrow it. I wanted one when I was pregnant with Melynn, but we couldn't afford it. But we finally were able to get one. I can't wait to hear the baby's heart beat.
Everyday Melynn seems to amazes us with something new she does. Tonight we went to Applebee's with some friends for dinner and I got a Mango Banana Smoothie (amazing) but wasn't feel like any when it came, so Peter was letting Melynn have some by letting it slide out of the stray into her mouth. Well at some point she got tired of waiting for it to come out and she decided to suck on the straw. "Wow, if I suck on this thing it comes out fast", is what we figure she thought, because after that it was on and she was sucking it out like crazy. So we put the straw in the cup to see if she could figure out how to do it on her own and it took her about five seconds and she was off. What a pro. Way to go Melly. We're so proud of you.
Melynn has 3 stuffed animals up here in Alaska they are: a white seal named Seward, a moose named Moosey Pie,& a pink bunny from Grammy named Snooky Bunny. The moose and seal have ribbons around the neck that say Alaska. Yesterday Seward was on the floor across the room from Melynn and the ribbon was off it neck, but it was stitched on in one spot so it wouldn't get lost. I asked said to her not expecting her to understand, "Melly go get Seward". She looked at the seal, walked over and picked him up took a few steps to me dropped Seward and walked off. Peter's and my mouth dropped open in amazement. A few minutes later I was in the hall and saw her moose on the floor and told her to come get Moosey Pie. She walked over to it picked it up and walked off. She also knows Snooky bunny just the same. Also here is a picture of her holding all three. 
When daddy came home from work today he played with Melly for a while. He was biting her cheeks and she was laughing so hard. Check out the video.
Here's another one of them playing the night before. And when she saw the card tonight she rushed over to daddy and tried to stuff the card in his mouth. It's an extra Fred Meyer rewards card.
Today Melly and I took lunch to Peter. So He took a 30 minute break to eat with us. And when we were done on the way to the back out of the park in his area we stopped at the play ground to see what Melly would think of the slide and some of the toys there. I'm not sure she really liked it. I don't think that she understood the point. She's still too young.
Then We tried the little motorcycle springy toy. She wouldn't stay on it. I think it kind of scared her, because it was so wobbly. So I got on it with her and didn't put into account that I was going to make it to back heavy and when we got on we immediately fell backward. It startled me when it happened. Peter was laughing so hard, but he still managed to take a couple pictures. Take a look.
The other night Peter got off of work early and we went to dinner to a place called Qdoba Mexican Grill and we got the same thing. The Mexican Gumbo. This is what it contains: white rice, pinto beans or black beans, Tortilla/taco soup, salsa/pico de gallo, topped with cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips/strips. And then you have the option of having Pork, Chicken, Steak, or just vegetarian. It is so good, but they don't have any in Utah. So I'm going to have to figure out a good recipe to make on my own. 
I know this picture doesn't make it look that good. But I promise it is so good.
You may have noticed that Peter has a blog. But it never seems to get updated. The reason for that is because he doesn't remember what his log-in was. But he didn't was to get forget about it. So we put it on our blog to remember it.
Melynn has a new found love of Cheetos. The puffy ones because she can't choke on them...they dissolve. If we let her she would eat the whole bag in a day or smash them into the carpet. Which ever came first. Of course I could see her licking the carpet if she smashed them in. She loves them that much.
If you listen closely you might hear Melynn say "Daddy" and "Again". You decide, but we are sure she is.
Melly's going to be a big sister. We wanted to see who notices first, so we announced it on the blog.
