Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

On Sunday we went to the wildlife preserve and saw a bunch of really cool animals.

Melynn did not want to be in the car seat any longer. This was on the way there.

I like how the elks mouth is open.

The baby buffalo look dead.

Wendi's Shoes

This afternoon we were getting ready to go on our adventure. As Wendi pulled on her right shoe she commented on how quickly her feet were getting this during this pregnancy. She then pulled on her left shoe and noticed that the shoe fit perfectly. She then began to wonder out loud why only one foot was changing. So she took the right shoe off to investigate. From across the room I heard her exasperated voice "Melly!". I looked over as she pulls a wadded up baby wipe in her shoe. But just so you know Melynn has a thing for putting things in shoes, cups, the toilet. We're just lucky she doesn't know how to flush.

Sunday Adventure

Last Sunday we went on an adventure to a park that has a train that you can play on, also a picture of Peter and Melynn walking that I love.

I love this picture, because we are both pointing.

We couldn't help but put her on this hook, she got so upset about it.

I have no idea what this building was but I thought that it looked really weird. I thought that it looked like it could have been some kind of night club, but I don't know. I guess we'll never know.

Blogger Problems

For those of you who use Firefox, videos are having trouble playing. But you will be able to watch them in internet explorer. So until further notice if you want to watch the videos use internet explorer.

Happy Birthday, Melynn!

Today is Melynn's first Birthday. Because we are not at home we just did a small party. Instead of getting a cake she got a cream filled donut. At first she gagged on it and a few minutes she decided it was good and chowed down. I think that she isn't used to having something that big put in front of her and also I think that it was too sweet for her. Also on a side note, last Sunday was the first time I tried the pony tail thing she looked so cute but today I tried pigtails I think they look much cuter.

Here are a couple of pictures. Peter really likes the one with her mouth open.

Mommy and Daddy love you Melly and we are so thankful to have you in our lives. We thank our Father in Heaven for the miracle that you are. You are such a wonderful, beautiful, smart little girl.

Salmon Run

Tonight after Peter got home from work he took us out for a little adventure. We went to a place across town where there is a waterfall and the salmon try to jump up it. Here is a little video. After about 6 seconds one fish jumps and right at the end another one does.

Dancing Queen

Our little Melly is a dancing fool. Every time a certain commercial comes on she drops everything shes doing and starts dancing. We finally downloaded the music for the commercial and here she is dancing to it. You even get a rare glimpse of dancing daddy.
