Melynn has a favorite show (Signing Time) that she watches without any movement. We were trying to come up with ways to keep her from freaking out on the airplane and Peter thought of seeing if she would do well with headphones and she did pretty good. Well this is how it turned out.
Today was a great day for Peter. Through a lot of hard work and even more prayer he was able to get four sales today. Way to go babe, we are so proud of you!
This is kind of a funny video that we got of the seal. I don't know what it was doing. I guess you could say he was kissing the glass.
Today we went to the zoo. The Alaska Zoo is different than the Hogle Zoo there are no African animals. They only have animals from Alaska. It was not too exciting. Melynn loved the goats. A girl after mine and grandma's (G-ma Houser) own heart. she kept pulling herself so that her face was touching the fence (On the non-dangerous animals cages you could reach through the fence and touch them). You are very close to them. Melly made a new friend today. He is one of the sales reps (Eric). Melly really liked him. Here are some of the things that we really liked. Last night I was washing laundry. I was rotating wash from the washer to the dryer and Melynn was at my feet all the while watching me. In that load I happened to have one of her blankets i had washed and I put it in the dryer. Well Melly crawled over and tried to pull her blanket out. So I pushed it back in and she looked at me as if to say "that doesn't belong there, mom!" and continued to try and pull it out. Well I finally got to dry them and when Peter got home from work I showed her and she did it again. So he put her in the dryer and she got really excited about her blanky and snuggled up to it, but not before we snapped a few pictures off.

I gave Melly a green balloon because I wanted to know what she would do. At first all she could do was what any baby would do, she just stared at it. She got hold of it and started flinging it about like crazy.
Peter made this video a few months ago. Melynn was only about 2 months old at the time.

Today is Korbin's sixth birthday we all miss him very much. He played such a big role in our lives. And he was alway such a joy to have around. I know that he is always with us and he is continuously guiding us in the right direction so that some day we can return to live with him. We all love and miss you Korby and can't wait to see you again. Happy Birthday, Buddy!
We were babysitting Makabe for Margie and Charlie so they could go to Salt Lake for General Conference and decided to give them a bath together and see what they would do. They both wanted the duck and any toy that the other one had. Here are some pictures.
We were getting ready for Alaska and we sent off the port-a-crib with Peter’s friend Tyler (he’s driving up there) so we set up her crib and this is how we found her sleeping (she was sitting up leaning over with her head on the mattress) when we came into bed later that night. And the we found her with her legs between the bars the next day.
