Cracked Screen iPod

I'm looking for an old iPod with a cracked screen. If you know anyone that has one that they've just thrown in a drawer or something let me know. I'm willing to pay for it as long as it's otherwise functional.

9-1-1

On Sunday night we went over to visit family so that Melly could see Grandma Houser for a bit (grandpa works nights so he was sleeping). She had some computer problems so Peter was helping her fix things. Melly was getting into everything so Grandma decided to hold her on her lap and to keep her from playing on the keyboard she gave her the cordless phone. After a while she got bored of the phone and dropped it on the floor. Shortly after I got bored too and took Melly upstairs to play with the cousins. A few minutes later I noticed a cop pull up to the house. Melly and I went outside to greet him. He asked if everything was okay, apparently they received an abandoned 911 call from this address. And the only one who had used the phone in the last hour? You guessed it, Melly. My nephew Colton, in only his boxers, went downstairs to tell Peter and Grandma that Melly was in trouble with the cops. Later that evening Keith (my brother) decided to put his math skills to work and began to calculate the probability of her dialing 911 consecutively. But we got stuck not knowing if the numbers had to be consecutive. Either way it was kind of embarrassing for me and Melly. The cop said not to worry about it that his kids do it all the time. No more phone time for Melly

Also other signs she can do but we don't have video of: food/eat (same sign), Dog, fish (she doesn't do fish very well but she is trying).

Bucket Head

Melly thinks that it is so funny when dad puts this bucket on top of her. In this on she tries to pick stuff through the bucket. pretty funny.

Sleep Positions

Melynn always sleeps in the weirdest positions. And she also loves books, here are a couple of pictures. Check it out.

New found love

Those of you who know me know I don't like Chocolate, but for some reason while I'm pregnant I'm completely loving it, but only a certain kind. Girardelli's. I love the plain chocolate and the Caramel ones. They are fabulous.

Tagged

Wendi was tagged to talk about her high school years, I took the liberty of answering for mine.

1. Did you date someone from your school?
A few dozen someones

2. What kind of car did you drive? An orange 1969 Dodge Charger. Worked great until both doors quit working and I got them welded shut... No wait, that was Luke Duke. My transportation had two wheels and Rock Shox.

3. What was the most embarrassing moment of high school? Probably when TJ rode a motorcycle down the hall on the last day of class in just a thong, not embarrassing for me, but very embarrassing for his dad who got caught videotaping the whole thing.

4. Were you a party animal? I'm a nerd does that answer your question?

5. Were you considered a flirt? See 4

6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Sorta, I was one of the original boot dancers. We performed with a band.

7. Were you a nerd? Still am, proud of it.

Yo I know Pi to a thousand places
Ain't got no grills but I still wear braces
There's no killer app I haven't run
At Pascal, well, I'm number 1
Do vector calculus just for fun
I ain't got a gat but I gotta soldering gun
Happy days is my favorite theme song
I can sure kick your butt in a game of ping pong
I'll ace any trivia quiz you bring on
I'm fluent in Java Script as well as Klingon

8. Were you on any varsity teams? Yep, some.

9. Did you get suspended/ expelled? Those records are still sealed.

10. Can you still sing the fight song? Nope, could I then? Nope. Except for that one part about our colors being "green silver and blue" for my favorite pregnant choir director.

11. Who were your favorite teachers? 1. Dennis the bouncer, he taught me more than 4 years of Channel 1 put together. 2. Linda the Lunchlady, she made those delicious BBQ rib sandwiches that I think contained some sort of meat.

12. Where did you sit during lunch? I sat on the table with the Cullens, they were the four pale kids that didn't talk much.

13. What was your school's full name? Payson High School. Home of the Lions and a big pink P on the hill.

14. School mascot? I just told ya that, a lion.

15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Junior Year - yes, but the story deserves it's own post. Senior Year - yes, but the story deserves it's own post. Maybe someday...

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? I do on occasion, but not the whole thing, I don't have time for that, just a day or two at a time.

17. What do you remember most about graduation? David O McKay

18. Where did you go for senior skip day? Fun Day 2000! We raced Powerwheels down Barnett hill, bucket shoes, couches at school, couches in the pickup, couches on skateboards, I think we fit in a movie at Salem Pond and a 3 AM trip to dennys too. That's only a fraction of the exctiment of Fun Day 2000, the only way to understand was to live it. I mean the day got it's own name, that's pretty spectacular.

19. Were you in a club? FFA, 4H, ACLU, Ham Radio, Josh Whiting Fan Club, GLAD, Boot Dancers, NRA, and ADT.

20. Have you gained some weight since then? Yes, 1.19 E 3 ewieq. Good luck!

21. Who was your prom date? Both Jr and Sr years deserve their own posts, see 15. (read I don't want to spend the next hour telling all the stories, I've already invested too much time on this thing)

22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Coin flip says yes.

23. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?

"Wear Sunscreen

If I could offer you only one tip for the future,
sunscreen would be it.
The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists,
whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience
I will dispense this advice now.

But trust me on the sunscreen"
-Sunscreen Song, Baz Luhrmann

PS If you believe any of this I've got some great inverstment opportunities for ya.
