Johansen Family Campout 2010

Let me explain to you what elevator lake is and you can see the pictures and videos.

Elevator lake is a lake that has grasses and marsh growing over the top of it. When you stand on top it sinks like an elevator dropping and when you get off it raises back up. It's really pretty cool.

Enjoy!

Playing Together Family Style

Playing the bugs game with Daddy.

They held this hug for like 3 minutes. It was so cute.

Peter drew the bugs from the bugs game.
Alex decided he was still hungry, so he went back for seconds.

Peter drew this picture.

Pictures Galore part 2

Moose in the city (Anchorage)

Just after he learned to shake his head from side to side.

The blankets I made for Christmas.

For those of you who don't know my Grandpa J created this piece of art, it is above the entrance to the church history museum.

About a year ago we found this in Melly's room, it was difficult to bend back. There is no way she had the strength to bend it. It remains a mystery

Memorial Day Adventure with the Johansen Family.

Melynn picked danilions for all the girls to wear in there hair.
Bocce Ball

If there is a ball or rock in sight, Alex will be holding it. What a boy!
Three Generations

Unfortunately this is how he looks after almost every meal. Except this is Spaghettios, which is more noticeable.

Lola Belle

The newest member of our family is...Lola.

She is a Rat Terrier/Beagle mix, but she looks like a boxer. She is 10 1/2 weeks old. The kids absolutely love her. I was asking Melly what she would like to name her. I asked a series of names and she liked Lola.

We are proud to present Lola Belle Johansen.
Melly isn't chocking her she is trying to turn her head to look at the camera.
Gotta love Alex's expression...Classic!
